Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP“) applies to your use of ApplyIn5, including our website, Chrome extension, and related services (the “Service“), operated by Ctrl F Five For IT And Artificial Intelligence Consulting (“Ctrl F5 AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This AUP is incorporated into, and should be read together with, our [Terms of Service].

By using the Service, you agree not to engage in any of the activities described below.

1. Prohibited activities

You must not use the Service to:

1.1 Misrepresentation and fraud

  • Submit false, fabricated, or materially misleading information in a CV, cover letter, screening-question answer, or job application, including fabricated qualifications, credentials, employment history, or references.
  • Impersonate another person, or submit applications on behalf of someone else without their knowledge and consent.
  • Use the Service to commit or facilitate fraud, identity theft, or any other unlawful act.

1.2 Abuse of the Service

  • Use bots, scripts, or automation (other than the ApplyIn5 extension itself) to interact with the Service in ways not intended by us.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service, or circumvent any rate limits, security measures, or usage restrictions.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including introducing malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited bulk applications, or mass-apply in a way designed to abuse or overwhelm a job portal.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network related to the Service.

1.3 Misuse of job portals

  • Use the Service in a manner that violates the terms of service, acceptable use policies, or robots/automation restrictions of any third-party job portal (e.g., Bayt, Naukri, GulfTalent, Dubizzle Jobs, Monster Gulf, LinkedIn, or others).
  • Use the Service to scrape, harvest, or extract data from job portals beyond what is necessary to complete your own job application.

1.4 Harmful or illegal content

  • Upload, generate, or submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Use the Service to violate the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

1.5 Commercial misuse

  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties without our written permission.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or to extract data for training a competing AI model.

2. Your responsibility for generated content

While ApplyIn5 helps generate CVs, cover letters, and screening-question answers, you remain solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of every application you submit. You must review all AI-generated content before submission and correct any inaccuracies.

3. Reporting violations

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, please report it to [hello@applyin5.com].

4. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP and to take appropriate action, including:

  • Removing or disabling access to content.
  • Suspending or terminating your account, with or without notice.
  • Reporting unlawful activity to relevant authorities.
  • Pursuing any other remedy available to us under the [Terms of Service] or applicable law.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
