These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ApplyIn5 web application and Chrome extension (collectively, “the Service”) operated by ApplyIn5 (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using ApplyIn5, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
2. Account Registration
To access the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Description of the Service
ApplyIn5 provides AI-powered tools to assist with job applications, including:
- Automated form filling on supported job portals via the Chrome extension.
- AI-generated, job-specific CVs and cover letters.
- Automated responses to standard application questions.
- LinkedIn profile optimisation suggestions.
- Application tracking dashboard.
The Service is an assistive tool. All final submissions, content review, and application decisions remain your responsibility. We do not apply to jobs on your behalf without your explicit action.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Submit false, misleading, or fabricated information in job applications generated by the Service.
- Use the Service to apply for jobs you are not genuinely interested in or qualified for.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate any part of the Service’s AI systems or codebase.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to abuse the Service beyond its intended functionality.
- Share your account credentials with others or resell access to the Service.
- Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable laws, including data protection laws of your jurisdiction.
5. Subscription and Payment (Beta)
5.1 Free Trial
New users receive a 7-day free trial with access to all features, limited to 20 applications. No credit card is required to start the trial.
5.2 Pro Plan
Following the trial period, continued use requires an active Pro subscription at the applicable monthly rate. Beta testers who subscribe during the launch period are locked in at the promotional rate for the lifetime of their subscription, provided their subscription remains active without lapsing.
5.3 Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You authorise us to charge your payment method on file each month. If payment fails, your account may be suspended until payment is received.
5.4 Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. Promotional pricing (e.g., beta lock-in rates) is forfeited upon cancellation and cannot be reinstated.
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
The CVs, cover letters, and Q&A responses generated by ApplyIn5 are produced by AI and are intended as a starting point. You are responsible for:
- Reviewing all AI-generated content before submission.
- Ensuring the accuracy and truthfulness of all information submitted in job applications.
- Compliance with the terms and conditions of individual job portals.
We make no guarantees that AI-generated content will result in job interviews, offers, or any particular employment outcome. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from the submission of inaccurate or misleading application content.
7. Third-Party Job Portals
The Service interacts with third-party job portals (such as Naukri, Bayt, LinkedIn, and others). These portals have their own terms of service. By using ApplyIn5 on these portals, you agree to comply with the relevant portal’s terms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party job portal.
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted compatibility with all job portals. Portal updates may temporarily affect the Service’s functionality on specific sites.
8. Chrome Extension
The ApplyIn5 Chrome extension is subject to Google’s Chrome Web Store policies. The extension:
- Only activates on pages where you explicitly click Scan & Fill or a similar action button.
- Does not passively monitor your browsing history or track you across websites.
- Reads page content solely to enable the features you initiate.
You may uninstall the extension at any time from your Chrome browser. Uninstalling the extension does not delete your account or profile data on our servers.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, code, AI models, branding, and materials associated with ApplyIn5 are the intellectual property of ApplyIn5 and protected under applicable laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose only.
Any content you upload (CV data, personal information, etc.) remains your property. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of delivering the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplyIn5 shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Loss of employment opportunities, interviews, or job offers.
- Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content.
- Interruptions in Service availability or compatibility with third-party job portals.
- Unauthorised access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain account security.
Our total cumulative liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ApplyIn5 and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or a notice on the website at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
